SECONDARY
Secondary students (6-12th grades) at New Life Christian Academy experience a mix of challenging academic schedules, sports, social activities and community service. This experience, coupled with weekly chapel times and daily Bible classes, produces well-rounded graduates, firmly planted on a solid foundation.
Their success, like other things important in life, comes from self-motivation and perseverance. Each student achieves a solid academic grounding through a superior curriculum with numerous electives that enable them to explore individual interests through a Biblical world view.

Opportunities to serve in student leadership positions, as well as mandatory community service hours, promotes an atmosphere of Christ-like servant hood on and off campus.

Curriculum
Junior High students use a variety of curriculum. The publishers used are ABeka, BJU Press, and ACSI. Junior high students complete a
survey study of the Old and New Testament for their Bible class. Several novels are used to enhance their Language Arts program.

Our High School curriculum continues to use the same publishers as in the elementary and junior high years. High school Bible courses are The Inner Man (a character study, Positive Action), Basic Theology and Church History for tenth graders and Understanding the Times, an apologetics course, for eleventh graders. Senior level Bible is called Senior Seminar and its focus is to help students biblically prepare for their future. High school math books are purchased from a secular publisher, McGraw Hill, and a selection of novels are read as a part of the literature courses in high school.
ABeka and BJU Press are the publishers of the remainder of our courses.
