Choosing the right pre-Kindergarten program is an incredibly important decision for any parent—and at New Life, we don’t take that lightly. Our pre-K program is designed to give your child a strong start academically, socially and spiritually in a safe, nurturing environment.

New Life offers three, four, and five day programs with half day or full day options.

A typical day includes activities and exercises in Bible lessons, numbers, counting, music, crafts, large and small motor skills and outdoor play time.

We are an academic, pre-Kindergarten program, not a play-based preschool. The expressed goal of our program is to prepare students to enter our Kindergarten program.

Curriculum: 

Our pre-K program uses the ABeka K4 curriculum, which places a strong emphasis on phonics and reading readiness in the area of language arts. The mathematics program stresses number recognition and concepts as well as formation of numbers. This curriculum is also used for our kindergarten program, ensuring pre-K students are well-prepared.

Students Must Be: 

- Ready to separate from parents and get along with peers. 

- Able to learn how to listen, follow directions and obey the teacher.

- Able to sit for short periods (5-10 minutes) for an activity or story

- Able to express needs verbally to an adult

- Completely potty-trained and able to use the bathroom independently.

- 4 years old by September 1 (we recommend June 1 for boys).
